“The man who doesn't read good books has no advantage over the man who can't read them.” Mark Twain
Formed in January 2005 to celebrate the best of classic and contemporary literature, BookClan offers regular recommendations in adult fiction, and occasional suggestions for non-fiction, poetry, childrens' and belter books, along with classic and contemporary films.
Each month the Clan editor, or a Clan member, selects one work of fiction from each of the following three categories:
- Classic – published prior to 1960;
- Modern – published post 1960;
- New – under current international release.
Discussions of the books are restricted to Clan members. If you are interested in joining BookClan, please contact the editor.
